I think I may have an idea why it's not working. It has to be that the stuff the
filemtime
function is returning is incorrect. That would explain why the dates you're getting are coming out as 1970 or whatever. Now, that means, either the
filemtime
function isn't working properly (unlikely) or the file path being provided to the function is incorrect (possible).

So, if you could open up the
easy-admin-color-schemes.php
file and go down to line
331
and after that put
echo($schemepath);exit;
and let me know what you get, I would greatly appreciate it. If it doesn't return anything, then that's a problem. If it returns something invalid, then that is also a problem.

So anyway, if you could give that a try and let me know what you get, that would be really great! :)

Hello James,

Thanks for stepping by and replying. I don't know why it doesn't work for me. My database and server has following data:

Server version: 5.0.32-Debian_7etch5-log
MySQL client version: 5.0.32

Anyway, I am sure more people will confirm it if it is a common problem and then you will solve it.

Thanks for a good plugin.

Hey again,
Still trying to figure out the last modified date issue. Can you perhaps give me some more info on your current configuration of your server? See, my plugin is using the
filemtime
function in PHP to determine the last modified time of the CSS files. So, it should work. I'm not exactly sure why it isn't for you. It works just fine for me. My server is running a pretty standard LAMP setup.

So, anyway, any more info you can provide would help me to track down the problem. Thanks. :)

Hello,
Thanks for featuring my plugin.

The last modified dates do seem to have a bug. I'll see what's going on and hopefully have a fix for it very soon.

As for the scheme that comes with it, yeah, it's pretty hideous. :p The only reason I had any scheme at all in there by default was so the schemes directory would appear in the zip file for sure. If I had nothing in there it wouldn't include the schemes directory at all in the zip file for some odd reason. I wanted to make sure it would be included in the zip file to help minimize confusion. When I get some more time I plan to make a nicer scheme to include with it by default.

Anyway, thanks for trying out my plugin. I'm already looking into the last modified date issue. I'll post back here when I get it figured out so you'll know right away. ;)
